I stumpled upon artist Craww today while looking for something entirely different, and ended up browsing through first his website, then his blog and then his shop, and before I knew it I was having a raging discussion with myself as to which of the lovely prints (or maybe an original.. jury’s still out) I was to get, and whatever I was supposed to do totally slipped my mind. And I’m sure you can see why:
One of the highlights of our London-trip was the visit we made to milliner Bundle MacLaren. After seeing her collection online, I was already quite smitten with her playful and contemporary style and I couldn’t have been more excited to see her hats live. And I’ve got to tell you: they did not disappoint.
Not only were the hats absolutely fabulous, but Bundle herself turned out to be a one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. We spent way too much time in her little studio, and for any loss of productivity that day Bundle, we apologize.
When the time came to actually pick which hat to buy, it was a very hard choice. I ended up buying four (soon to be featured in a hat-of-the-week post or two), but I’m guessing I’ll have to order a few to be shipped over here in the coming months.
(I took a few photos from her shop, but for some reason they turned out really bad, so here are a few from her collection instead:)

Just a quick hello from London! I’m here with my sister, and we started our trip with a full day in Camden. Two dresses, a vintage Burberry coat, a hat, one pair of shoes, three pairs of stockings and a new brilliant What Katie Did corset later I’ve basically turned into a parody of myself. Hope you’re all good!
..is Norways national day. It’s a rather big deal over here. Everyone dresses up, the children walk in parades and everyones eats lots and lots of icecream. We spent the day at the lovely M’s, with fantastic people and glorious food.
Maja, enjoying the day!
Ida in her traditional bunad (Beltestakk from Telemark)
Me in slightly less traditional attire..
..but in a fantastic hat (Åse Strand), if I may say so myself.
